The International Center for the Advancement of Pastoral Systems (ICAPS)

The International Center for the Advancement of Pastoral Systems seeks to understand and protect a working balance between rural communities and natural systems. We will continue to study global change as it impacts wildlife, people, and ecosystems while raising awareness of these issues through timely and artistic media. ICAPS draws many of its own values and inspiration from the traditions of rural families worldwide who have been living in balance with the natural systems for over a millennium.
